Air Transportation
Economy class flights on an IATA/ARC jet carrier airfare is based on specially negotiated rates. Airfare is based on departures from New York. Add-on fares are available from all U.S. Airports.
Reservation and Payments
A deposit of $100.00 is required 7 days after confirmation. If you purchase a lower priced airline ticket on the Vytis Tours website or over the phone, that will qualify as your deposit. Restrictions on your airline ticket will be different from the land arrangements. Your Vytis Tours representative will go over it in detail if you have any questions. The balance is payable no less than 45 days prior to departure. Payment not received in time results in penalties or higher rates.
The Operator Cancellations
In the event that Vytis Tours either cancels or amends a tour, Vytis Tours shall bear no responsibility beyond the refunding of the money paid to Vytis Tours by tour participants.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be made in writing and addressed to Vytis Tours. Cancellation is acknowledged for purposes of penalty assessment when Vytis Tours receives such written notice.
Cancellation Fees
Cancelled - 34 Days or more prior to departure - $100.00
Cancelled - 33-22 Days - 40%
Cancelled - 21-17 Days - 75%
Cancelled - 16-0 Days - no refund
Insurance
We strongly recommend that you purchase luggage and accident insurance. Vytis Tours is not liable for loss, damage, or theft of personal property, or for personal injury, accident, or illness. It is important for your own protection that you have adequate insurance. Trip cancellation, health, accident, and baggage insurance are available through Vytis Tours.
Baggage
On trans-atlantic flight, the baggage requirements and fees may vary from one carrier to the next. Please contact your airline or Vytis Tours representative. All baggage and personal property are kept at the owner's risk throughout the tour. We strongly recommend insurance. Ask your Vytis Tours representative for more information.
Children, seniors and extra people in a room
Reduced airfares may apply for children 2-11 years and infants. Triple rooms and extra beds are available upon request and are subject to availability. There are no senior discounts. No discounts are available for land arrangements.
Travel Documents
Your U.S. Passport must be valid at least 6 months or longer after your return date of your trip. If your passport expires in less than 6 months, you should renew if prior to your departure from the U.S. U.S. citizens require a visa for Russia.

Vytis Tours, hereinafter known as Vytis, acts as agent and is responsible to the tour participant for making arrangements for all services and accommodations offered. The responsibility of Vytis Tours is strictly limited. The carriers, hotel, and other suppliers providing tour services are independent contractors and are not agents, employers or servants of Vytis Tours or its affiliates. As a tour operator, Vytis organizes, promotes, and sells these trips consisting of travel services, including but not limited to airline seats, hotel reservations, sightseeing tours, surface transport, and arrangements which Vytis purchases or reserves from various suppliers. Vytis is not responsible for the willful or negligent acts and/or omissions of such suppliers or any carrier or their respective employees, agents, servants, or representatives including, without limitation, their failure to deliver or their partial or inadequate delivery of services. By using the travel services of the supplier, you agree that neither Vytis, nor any of it's representatives shall be liable for any accident, injury, property damage or personal loss to you or to those travelling with you in connection with any accommodations, transport or other resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrences or conditions beyond its control, including, but not limited to, acts of terrorism, defect of vehicles, breakdown in equipment, strikes, theft, delay, cancellations, change in itineraries of substitute components to trips. All travel documents and compliance with custom regulations are the responsibility of the passenger.
